An Agent Wants to Present an Offer on My House.   What do I do now?

1.  Agents should fax their offer to us 678-318-3605 or email to duffycontracts@gmail.com. This number and email is on your listing. We have 3 fax lines that work in rotation so that we receive every fax. Sometimes agents call you or us WAY in advance of writing an offer so please be patient. Often times they are just checking availablity on 2 or 3 houses and the buyer is only writing 1 offer.

We will fax or email the agent a written confirmation which is the legal way to accept offers in writing.  Until the agent has received a written confirmation, it should not be considered sent or received.  In other words, we have not received the
offer.

2.  We will then review the offer, make our written recommendations and add our instructions for you to follow to make a counter offer. We will email you the offer.

3.  .  If you know that an agent is sending an offer, write us an email to:

duffycontracts@gmail.com

Add your FMLS and address and Receiving Offer to the subject line.

** Please send us an email and then wait to hear from us.  We will contact you before we leave for the day at 6 to let you know if we have received the offer.

** Timeframes given by an agent for our response should be no less than 24 hours.  If an agent tells you that they have faxed an offer and it has a shorter timeframe shorter than 24 hours, please ask them for an extension.
