What is A Good Offer?

A good offer does not only include a good sales price. You must consider the timing of the contract, any stipulations and a quick inspection period.

When negotiating for an end of the month closing, don’t forget that the contract allows the buyer to extend the closing up to 7 days inside the contract if their financing takes more time. You might want to consider this and the fact that you may have prorated payment due after the first of the month if you don’t close.

Most homes sell between 94 and 96% of asking price and that does not include any price reductions.
